| Greetings, Prayer Team,
Please join me in praising our God and Father through Jesus Christ for His
work through us in South Korea. Here are some pictures as well as
testimonies to encourage your faith and prayer ministry.
------------------

The first picture is of the John Willing family who are serving with Family
Missions International in Suji, South Korea. John is on the Elijah
Ministries board of directors. Please pray for them as they continue to
serve. Also, Susan, John's wife is undergoing chemo treatment with breast
cancer. She is doing well, but still has 3 treatments to go. What a blessing
they were to us along with the Alan Patty family who have served there for 6
months. Alan and his family returned home the day before we did.
--------------------

The second picture is of the conference at Global Mission Church on Sat.
A wife and atheist husband attended my first seminar on Sat. at Global
Mission Church. She told us on the following Monday that after the last
session on Eternal Perspective in which I shared the gospel, he turned to her
and remarked, "There's something different here I want us to be a part of."
He came in skeptical at best and left open and hungry to learn more. Thank
you, Father, for making prayer possible on this man?s account. Save him for
your glory!
-------------------
Sometimes it's best to let another person say what God is doing. Here's Alan
Patty's account on his daughter's blog site.
"I have been blessed to attend 11 sessions and over 15 hrs. of teaching.
Some new, some I've heard before ? all were tremendously impacting. There is
not a single session where people, men and women alike, don't come to Norm
with tears in their eyes as God's spirit has touched their lives to reveal
His Son, the Cross, and His blood. Norm Wakefield (his 5th trip I believe)
will be written into the history of Korean homeschooling as the Spirit of
Elijah brought to the people and for generations they will be praising God's
name. I am so blessed to have just been a witness to God's power in full
display."
No glory goes to the clay pots God uses. What Alan and others experienced
was God's presence manifested through His Word and His Spirit. I believe
this was the result of the intercession of our Great High Priest and the
prayer team here on earth.

This is a picture of the men who have gone through the Walking Worthy Series
this past year led by John Willing at Church of Joy. God is doing a
transforming work in the lives of these men. It was amazing to hear the
changes they have made to lead their families for the glory of God.
------------------
Both services at which I spoke on the first Sunday were anointed by God's
presence. It was as if I got in the car and turned on the ignition. Then the
Holy Spirit asked me to move over, and He took control. Alma and I were both
aware of the exchange. At the Seonsa Church in the morning, one woman
sitting on Alma's row, wept throughout the message as I spoke of the gospel
and God's presence with us. The evening service at Jeju Church in Seoul was
attended by over 1500. The spirit of conviction and the presence of the Lord
was so strong, all sat in silence when I concluded. The presence of the
Spirit of Elijah (the Holy Spirit) turning hearts to God and to their
children registered on their faces as tears of repentance streamed down
hundreds of faces. Many bowed their heads in grief over how they had chased
after their work and their stuff instead of God. At dinner afterwards, two
men who serve on staff at the church, wept as they told us of God's working
that evening.
------------------

The Lord opened an opportunity to speak to parents of teens who are
homeschooling. This is a huge step for parents to take when one understands
the idolatry of education and materialism in the culture. Iksang was my
translator (pictured with me) and did a wonderful job expressing not only my
words, but my heart. It was the same with all five of the people who
translated for me during the two weeks. Their ministry was a tremendous
answer to prayer. Thank you for praying for these translators.
------------------

This picture was taken at a small church in Daegu. These people gathered to
hear me speak because through my counseling the pastor and his wife during
my last two visits to South Korea, God saved their marriage, reunited them,
and they have become a testimony of God's love and grace. They started this
church about five years ago. The reception and response to the messages
evidenced the prayer preparation and work of God's Spirit.
------------------

The last conference was held in Yeosu, in the south of the country. I spoke
about an eternal perspective on Sunday afternoon to this group pictured
here. The conference the next day was attended by 300-500 people. Many men
took off work to attend. The pastor's response was this: "I learned the
importance of building the church by discipling men and their families so
they can disciple the next generation." As God reminds you to pray for
Pastor Seo (pronounced "Saw"), lift him up to the Lord.
-----------------

Also, what a blessing it was to have Alma with me for the first time. She
was a source of encouragement to me and to many other women. We're grateful
for my parents who took care of Amanda so Alma could go with me. They do a
terrific job with Amanda, and she loves them too.
There are many more testimonies of God's goodness and grace to minister to
individual families throughout the two weeks, but I'm afraid it would be
overbearing to read them all. Please know that your intercession did not go
unheard, and that fruit was born for God's glory. Jesus told his disciples,
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and
it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much
fruit, and so prove to be My disciples." (John 15:7-8).
So, you have proved to be Jesus' disciples! Thank you for being a part of
the Elijah Ministries prayer team. Gratefully yours,
Norm and Alma Wakefield?
