Anchored in Christ:
Do you ever feel like the storms of life are going to blow your faith and smash it upon the rocks of perilous circumstances and disappointments? Learn how to apply what you believe about Jesus Christ to every event in life and anchor your soul in Jesus Christ.

Resurrection of Life:
This message was presented on Easter Sunday from John 11:38-45 at Bulverde Fellowship. Dealing With Teens:
At the root of most issues with difficult teens are competing appetites and desires sought for the sake of coping with hurt, disappointment, and failure. Parents who have an understanding of the spiritual battle and the power sources to which their teens turn have the hope of leading their teens through the challenges of life to a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Learn how in this insightful message about teens searching for happiness.

An Eternal Perspective:
How easy it is to become discouraged when we have our minds set on the daily grind and struggles of life. But God has ordained that those who maintain an eternal perspective in life will receive grace and strength for the tasks He calls them to do. Your heart will be encouraged as you hear what God's Word has to say about keeping an eternal perspective in life.

Incarnating the Gospel:
The gospel is meant to impact every area of our lives, especially our family relationships. Have you considered how the relationship between God, the Father, and Jesus Christ reveal insight into how we are to parent our children and present the gospel? Learn how you and your family can make the gospel relevant and bring honor to the Word of God in your church, community, and family.

I'm Old Enough to Make My Own Decisions:
Have you ever had this thought? Or heard your teen say it? Many parents and young adults suffer great damage in their relationships because they don't understand what God's Word has to say about how they should relate to each other. The first part answers two questions. 1) Is the right to make one's own decision a matter of age or gender? 2) How do we know who has the right to make a decision or give vision? In the second part, two more important questions are dealt with. 1) What truths should guide a young adult's relationship with his or her parents? And 2) Do others have any right or place to intervene between parents and a teen?

Lessons from the Titanic:
There are many lessons which can be learned from the disastrous sinking of the H.M.S. Titanic which may be applied to parents as captains of their own "ship"--the family. What are the "icebergs" which might sink your ship? How can a family avoid the dangers when navigating through the perilous ice flows of life?

Life With Amanda:
Norm and Alma share lessons they have learned while educating Amanda, their 20 year-old daughter who has Down's Syndrome. They will share insights regarding how to face the challenges of working with a special needs child as well as resources that may be of encouragement and assistance.

Marriage Made in Heaven:
Robert and Alyssa (Norm's second daughter) Welch share their story of how God brought them together and the lessons they learned in the process. This message is a testimony of hope and vision for parents and young people who are trusting God to lead in the process of discovering God's mate in life.

New Wineskins:
As God does a new thing in the hearts of men, turning their hearts toward their families, they are encountering a conflict of interest in their program-driven churches which divide the family. Some have started meeting in homes or meeting with other homeschoolers for worship and encouragement. Is God creating a new wineskin to hold the new wine? What should be considered when thinking about leaving a church and starting a new work?

Passing on the Blessings to Future Generations:
Most parents want the next generation to have it better than they did. How does one generation pass on the accumulated blessing from God to the next generation? How does one generation of men insure that the next generation of men are equipped to advance the kingdom of God to a greater degree than ever before? God has revealed in His Word how this is to occur. Learn how you can pass on the blessings of God to your children.

Pastoring Homeschoolers:
For some pastors and church leaders, homeschoolers provide a challenge for which they are not equipped or educated. Norm encourages pastors by helping them see what God is doing in their churches through homeschoolers and giving them vision for encouraging them.

Preparing Your Young Adult for Christ-Centered Relationships:
Scripturally speaking, there is very little guidance for the popular topics of courtship and betrothal, but the Bible has much to say about building guilt-free relationships that are Christ-centered. This workshop presents various passages of Scripture that have direct application to leading your young adults in preparing for marriage.

Preparing Your Teens for Life:
The Bible has a curriculum for teens. Do you know what it is and where to find it? Norm shows how God's Word has clear direction for young people in their preparation years which will give them hope for the future.

Rethink the Way You Live:
Have you ever considered that the kingdom of heaven is to be entered now? That's what Jesus came preaching and we're to carry that same message to others today. "Rethink the Way You Live Your Life" brings the truths of the kingdom of heaven and applies them to our lives today.

Run to Win:
Most teens don't think about their actions in light of a day of judgment. Many Christians mistakenly think because they are "saved by grace" they won't have to give an account for their words or actions. The Bible teaches we all have a race to run and a finish line to cross in life. How are we to run these laps in the race so that we can win the prize at the end? This message will encourage young people and parents to run the race with purpose and hope.

Sports and Home Education:
Do you feel like a taxi driver on call 24/7 as you run your children from one sporting event to another? Is the sports schedule the driving force behind your weekly homeschooling schedule? Hear a balanced, biblical perspective of sports from an ex-college athlete, coach, and homeschooling father.

What's a Mom to Do With Teenage Sons:
"He won't listen to me! Your son's got some problems. What are you going to do about him?" When a son reaches ages 10-12, something changes that makes mothering a son a challenge. Learn what to do!

Forerunners for the Next Generation:
Like John the Baptist was the forerunner for Jesus Christ to the nation of Israel, parents are the forerunners for Jesus Christ to their children. Learn what the responsibilities are of a forerunner and how to prepare the way of the Lord in the hearts of your children.

Revival in America: Building a Godly Legacy for Generations
America is in great need of a spiritual revival. How does the home education movement figure into a coming revival? In this message, Norm expresses God?s heart and vision for revival and how God could use the homeschooling movement to transform families, churches, cities, states, and a nation. It is vital that parents see how God wants to use them to express His heart as they build a godly legacy for the next generation.

Avoiding the Spirit of Control
One of the toughest challenges facing parents is finding the balance between training and disciplining children in love and controlling children to get them to do right. The Spirit of control destroys relationships, but the Spirit of love builds them. Norm provides vision in this message for avoiding the Spirit of control in parenting.

The Curse of the Standard Bearers
There's a significant contrast between the "Standard Bearer" and the "True Image Bearer". Those who live by standards instead of the Spirit of God and whose identity is derived from their performance and association with others who hold to the same standards on outward issues instead of love in Christ, place their children and everyone in their association under a curse. In this message you'll discover how each of these kinds of people are born and thus be able to recognize the presence and effect of the curse of the Standard Bearers.
